A big blue giant,

the riviving forest, a green paddock.

The little green shoots reach out to the sun.

The ground as black as coal.

The trees and the shoots grew through the burnt bushland,

higher, higher.

The grass as green as emeralds,

Calling back all the forest animals.

The sun dances from day to night,

long after the plants stand upright.

The forest is back but not quite normal,

The forest plants dress up the land in formal.

I love the forest,

The forest is my home.

I love it here when I'm not all alone.
