Fire

Fierce fire, hills burnt black, trees cry for help when fire attacked.
Crackle burn, the world burnt bare when fire was there.
Leaves like paper, a blood-red wall, too dry to cry.
The forest is fire's feast, he eats it all.
King Fire has a short, harsh reign.
All he left was devastation.
Fire fire, the beast that ate it all.
Black bones of houses lay across the hills.
Time goes by, life comes back, earth's green children have returned. Leaves like bandages, they heal the trees.
Plants sprout out. Colour comes back peering from a land of black.
A hopeful world.
