Shiny droplets fall

Pitter-patter of the rain

Over the forest

Trees in frosty air

High snowfall in bold, frigid hail

Silent - wait for spring

Trees sway in rhythm

A show free for all to view

Linked like a long chain

Ripped far from the trees

The leaves crack under pressure

From bright green to brown

Trees in thick blankets

Snow drifts across the forest

Winter has arrived

Decaying plants scattered 

Ferns sway in the heavy wind
