Bricks in a pile
A clump of clay
Waiting to be used
Sometime today
Bricks come out
One by one
Put on the others
And they’ll be done
Time after time
Walls are built
The bricks use teamwork
If the wall falls there’s lots of guilt
The bricks are quite happy
They’re all with their friends
But when tornados come
Their gratitude ends
The bricks are cracked
And can’t be fixed
So they are replaced
Old ones into lava then they are mixed
These steps are repeated
For a long time
I’m going to stop this poem
Because I don’t want to rhyme.
