Lizards sunbathing like it’s a day at the beach,

Then laughing out loud in a happy mood.

Small sneaky swallows swooping for spiders,

Mysterious magpies watching for unwanted outsiders.

Beautiful butterflies fluttering their wings,

Carolling crickets acting like kings.

Frogs performing in croaky choirs,

Busy bees, work inspires.

Possums frolic from tree to tree,

While nibbling your prize-winning roses with glee.

When light turns to darkness,

When day turns to night,

Mice,

Bats,

Owls,

Come to life.
