Gift from Nature

I gazed up at the sheeny wooden bowl,
Which delicately cupped a priceless pearl,
A red gift from nature! (Well really, Coles)
That compelled me to dance; swirls, whirls, and twirls!
As sweet as golden droplets of nectar,
As juicy as a thousand soaked sponges,
Provides energy to run ten hectares,
Every time I buy, I buy in bunches.
Bite! Colourful flavours course through my mouth,
Bite! The crunch of the munch is my one brunch,
Bite! The magic medicine kills my drouth,
Bite! I would also feast on this for lunch!
The highlight of Adam and Eve’s story,
Behold the almighty apple’s glory!
