Golden Butterfly
Who will remember him?
In this empty sea
No one to hear his cries
His endless torment
Who will remember him?
The man with regret
Grief his only friend
Desolation cascades over his body
Who will remember him?
The man with no face
One hundred masks
Never true, never accepting
Who will remember him ?
He who is slowly stripped of himself
Slowly but surely
Nothing will remain
Who will remember him?
He who changes everyday
This ocean washes over him
Purifying
Who will remember him?
The man who has nothing to lose
Accepting his fate
A morphing under the sea
Who will remember him?
The golden butterfly
Who spread his wings to break free
Too late
Who will remember him?
Now algae cages him in its grasp
Destruction crawls up his body
Who will remember him?
