Gracie

As pink as dark lily swishing by a pond
In a dark alley, walking by,
not to care,
just sit and stare.
I don't get it, just walk by without a word.
I wake to see her lonely
Echoes in my head saying 'I'm too old, and let me go'
I grab a shirt and slip it on Gracie.
I tell her 'got to go'.
I came back only to realise she's gone.
I feel ashamed, she thinks I'm too old for her.
'Never say it again' says the angle on my left shoulder
A night goes by, a second, and a third and fourth.
My devil dared me, and now what a disaster
What have I done?
'Hahahaha' devil yells
No I'm just lonely, like she was.
