The morning sun, holder of the day,

Dives down, please come back soon.

It leaves behind a golden sunset,

This late, great afternoon.

But when it’s gone, do not leave,

But embrace the newfound light.

Wind slithers past me, like a snake,

Oh the joy of the great night.

When I get up, I see the sun,

It smiles back at me.

The water glistens, gentle, subtle,

The wonder of the great sea.
