Gum Trees in the wind

The gum trees stand firmly in the strong wind and heavy rain
When the wind is knocking down the strongest of cranes
Other plants and shrubs were blown away
But the wind could only make the gum trees slightly sway
The poor creatures now have no place
As the gum trees were the only place safe
But soon the rain becomes more heavy and hard
Like small aerodynamic water shards
Soon the howling wind stops,
In several really loud pops,
The gum trees can now rest
When the fierce wind knocked down its pests
The gum trees give us plenty of shade
But people dig them up using a spade
For the environment and people the gum trees are needed
Now more gum trees need to be seeded.
