Habitat Loss

I wake up to my low-lying burrow,

I scamper around searching for tubers,

I approach my usual spot and I encounter a delicious funnel web spider,

I hear a whirring sound,

I go to investigate,

An enormous machine is destroying my friends' homes,

I watch as it heads toward my burrow,

I survive but my burrow does not.

Now, I am out in the wild,

Exposed.

I hear quiet footsteps,

Arrgghh!

A fox.

You people need to stop the destruction of habitat loss and introducing detrimental species.
