High Jinx of the Maneki Neko

I’m a lucky cat from the far far east
Meow meow; I’m not a menacing beast!
Shiny white, black, red, gold or green
What good fortune shall I let you glean?

Both paws, left paw or right paw can swing
Do you fancy an iPhone or some cha-ching?
How about a lover; va va voom?
Or a sports car that goes vroom...... vroom.

As sincere as sunlight is my swinging arm
Open your heart, I’ll keep you from harm.
Whatever you wish for, you’ll be in awe
I promise you that I won’t gaffaw!

I will dance with you in the breeze
Or build a snowman in the freeze
If that is what your heart has planned
Why don’t you come and take my hand?

I’ll help you fight all awkward mornings
And disband all the day’s warnings.
Let’s just go for those pies in the sky
As sure as fate we’ll fly sky high!
