Honey Eater

Pooh bear
Golden honey covers his face
As the rays of the sun sing down
Droplets of gold shine on the grass
and the trees shade the ground
Honey, yellow, sweet and sticky
He craves it very much
My pooh bear loves his daily meal
Of honey in his pot
His house smells of musty wood
His shelves covered in pots
A small patchwork blanket
Lays on his dusty bed
Achoo! As he inhales the dust
The fire crackles then starts to die
He licks the last of the honey
Then lies on his moth eaten bed
Its time to sleep
The moon is bright
On one clear spring night
