How Trees Feel

Machines pile up in front of the forest.

Chainsaws doing terrible things.

Trees scream, wanting to run.

Shouting and screaming for help.

Wishing that no one could harm them

Animals climbing out of their homes

Scurrying away from the killers

Tree lovers slowly make their way to the horrified trees.

Pushing, 

Shoving

Trying to stop everything that mankind is doing.

Slashes

And crashes.

Cries surround the trees,

Animals watching helplessly as their homes get destroyed.

Mankind murders the innocent 

Parts of trees scattering everywhere.

When will the carnage end?

When will this all finish?
