Humble Gum Tree

I was just a humble gum tree seed,

Covered by a fine layer of sand on top,

Watered regularly and looked after,

It took a while but I grew tall and strong,

In my life,

I have been through bushfires, 

Floods, 

Storms, 

And everything.

A koala lives in me,

But I stay strong,

I stay tall,

I will live forever.
