I pay my respect to all the trees

For you have given me air to breathe

I apologise for all that we have done

My gratitude for you now weighs a ton

I pay my respect to all the flowers

For you have left a scent smelt for hours

Here in the good and the bad

To have you we are glad

I pay my respect to all the animals

For our mind is just diagonal

You give us meat and honey

But we use you just for money

I pay my respect to the whole of nature

For you have been my saviour

Till the dawn of time

You will be forever mine
