It Starts With US

In the playground where we used to play,

Now rubbish and mess have come to stay,

Plastic bottles are spread around, wrappers are torn,

Covering the grass where we were born.

The sky was clear, the air was sweet,

Now garbage is piled up where we used to meet,

The wildlife is suffering, it's happening faster,

Our playground has turned into a disaster.

We need to act, let's make a change,

To clean up our environment, it's not so strange,

Pick up the litter, sort out the waste,

Give our air a cleaner taste.

For every piece of rubbish we see,

A healthier future starts with me,

Let's curb the waste, bring back the green,

And make the Earth the best it's been.
