Joy of the Sun

Slowly in the blasting wind, the ferns sway sadly
The leaves fly lightly, gliding gently through the sky
The flowers twirl sadly, alone in the grass
The clouds form rain, identical to broken glass
But the clouds disperse, and a single ray shines
All the animals come outside, taking in all the sun
The drooping plants sit up straight, proud as they stand
Even though there is one ray, the joy is spread through the land
