Jungle Pudna

The animals rouse,

Time to get up, I ponder,

Time to go to Jungle Pudna.

Pudna means waterhole.

Walking to my favourite place,

Listening to sweet birdsong,

Strolling into Jungle Pudna.

Climbing into my home-like tree,

Night-time falls and the animals begin to sing,

For Jungle Pudna.

Singing makes the animals dance,

Moving bodies,

Roaring, chittering, and laughing.

Walking home,

Remembering my night,

Leaving my wonderful home,

Loving my Jungle Pudna.
