Koala bear

Some people think a koala is a bear.

So here's a little story we'd like to share,

born down under (that's Australia to us).

They climb large trees, don't make a fuss,

marsupial is what they are related to,

those kangaroos hopping around in the zoo.

Koalas carry their babies in a pouch,

don't talk much, or even say ouch!

Have fuzzy ears and cute black nose,

their color is grey, they have five toes.

They like to roam in the dark of night,

so fuzzy and cute, just seem right.
