Kookaburras

A laugh from high up in the trees,

"Kooaa” kookaburras warn their families.

Danger!

"Chuckle"

“Where are you?” they say,

trying to find their families, that day,

keeping them safe.

I love their songs and their laugh.

Just like the other day,

when I heard a laugh,

I listened to their sound.

It put a smile on my face,

that laugh from high up in the trees.
