Lake Pedder and the Magic Mountain

I hear them working, consuming our time for sleep with the magic summoning of this giant mountain that has mysteriously appeared.

We now are certain of the water level rising, it’s this magical mountain’s fault, soon it shall flood.

I talk to my grandmother, for her wisdom is the greatest. In Lake Pedder, she says, the magic mountain will lead to flood.

The sky ocean fell like it normally does, but this time Lake Pedder rose, the mountain has blocked the sky ocean from draining out into the rest of the lake, normally the sky ocean falling is good, but so much was destroyed in the flood, so now many marine creatures are left without a home.

Now us residents of Lake Pedder live in fear of sky rain, a thing we used to praise, knowing it will be the downfall of the Pedder community, all from that mysterious magic mountain that has been summoned.
