Leaf

A plant,

Sprouting at last, 

Stretching its leaves,

Joyfully starting its adventure.

Burnt leaf,

Despite for water,

Scorched and black,

Others in ash.

Brown leaf,

Orange and red,

Wrinkled and crumbly, 

As delicate as glass.

Cold leaf,

Falling from the tree,

Surfing the wind,

It lands like a feather.

New plant,

Sprouting at last, 

Stretching its leaves,

Joyfully starting its adventure again.
