Lies

There was an expansive canyon, which lay ahead
On the other side, was everything that man can set one's heart on
On came a dog, who is a knight in lustrous armour, 
with a white daffodil in hand.

The gap is unreachable, even for superman 
The sheer cliff will turn their blood icy cold
Lose your balance, you will go to hell and back 
The Raven attempts to cross with, a greedy smile 

One step he took, and the fog came to aid 
Holding up his mouldy old feet, as he took more steps 
Vigilantly the dog came, tiptoeing to the bare cliff 
As the dirt rumble down, into the abyss below

One leap he took, a bridge of white daffodil 
Bright white, like the arctic tundra
A powerful fragrance came wandering up,
of vanillic tonalities 

The raven is faster than lightning, 
As his grubby hands are already opening the crooked chest
His crooked beak dropped,
to his surprise, the chest was empty 

‘’SLAM’’ Catching the raven’s beak,
as the dog scampered onto the chest 
The raven cried for mercy, but the dog wasn’t giving in
Springing on to the raven and ‘’CRACK’’

the dog breaks the raven’s wing
The raven howled in pain as he was showered in needles
‘’I'm a compulsive liar’’ cunningly said the dog,
and booted the raven into the abyss beellloooowww
