Life is a Mountain

Stopped in my tracks,
by the beauty before me.
The green grass is rolled out like carpet,
inviting me to keep moving forward.
The soothing sounds of nature,
the birds singing me into a new day.
The wind whistling softly.
I look to the top of the mountain,
I see the sensational sunset lighting the sky with it's vibrant colours.
Giving me an instant calming feeling.
Inspiring me to keep going,
to see the beauty on the other side.
Life is a mountain.
Climbing up the mountain is difficult,
but when you reach the peak,
it was worth it.
Whenever bad things happen in life,
there is good things to await.
