Leaves fall, twist and sway

Like dragons dancing in the night sky.

Water ripples as leaves wash down the stream

Like stars shooting across the moonlit sky.

Rivers tell stories scouring the continents,

But the leaves twirl and spin seeing forests showered in embers.

Lush forests turned to barren wastelands

The leaves continue on and on.

Ecosystems collapse, animals bellow in the thick puffs of smoke

But the leaves continue on.

They live throughout droughts, sunshine and rain

Then the cycle repeats another day.
