Luscious Green

Have you ever looked back and thought about the beauty of our world?

The place it is or what we thought it once was?

The trees, the sky, the luscious green, but the more we go on, the less it is seen

We destroy our world with out a second thought

We pollute the world with our trashed seas, factories, chemically enhanced genes and our impurity

From the big bang that started it all, to the dinosaurs that once roamed what we now we call home

It only seems like it has only gotten worse, and the world seems more and more and more cold

Ash fills the air, smoke pollutes our home. Animals have gone extinct and we're the only ones here to lay the blame on

Is it all really worth it, have we really achieved something great

Or did we just find one thing more to annihilate?

As we look around, all we can see is the ashes and flames that kill thousands with ease

I wonder, is this all we were meant to be, destroyers or nature killers of trees?

We could save our world together, united as one

We can all make a small difference, but together we can make a big one.
