Morning Sun

The morning sun,

Shines for everyone,

Upon the lake,

Where creatures wake,

The water shimmers,

The dew glimmers,

Birds sing their morning songs,

While others hope the day isn’t long,

Other creatures go to bed,

After staying up all night,

The animals begin to play,

Going about their day.
