Mother Nature, We are Coming

In the land where eucalyptus stood tall,
Where golden wattle danced in the breeze,
Now whispers of silence echo through all,
As shadows of beauty fade with such ease.
Once the rivers sparkled like diamonds bright,
With laughter of children along the shore,
Now the waters murmur, a ghostly bind,
And the songs of the birds are heard no more.
Coral reefs once painted in colours so grand,
Now lie bleached and lifeless, a memory's sigh,
The heartbeat of nature slips through our hands,
As futures grow dim in a smoke-laden sky.
Yet we rise with a promise, our spirits raging,
To follow your footsteps, restore what is lost.
With each seed we plant, we’ll honour your ways,
And cherish the gifts, no matter the cost.
In the spirit of youth, united we stand,
Mother Nature, we pledge to restore your grace.
With each step we take, we’ll honour your might,
Together, we’ll weave a new world in your light.
