Mother Nature’s Code

I make my way through the entrance,
I spot the rusting steel plate,
Three hundred and thirty-three etched upon it.
This number, a three-digit code, holds the key.
Unlocking my imagination as many times before.
I am immediately immersed in the memories,
A young child and her dad exploring,
333 is lush, verdant, wild, and ever-changing.
Home to me and the Worimi People, unspoilt.
The sounds and the scent of nature.
It is intoxicating to my senses.
Tallest of eucalyptus trees, lilly pilly shrubs and animals,
Fresh pure and clean water running in the creeks.
The creeks where I played without a care.
No matter where I look or step,
I know I am addicted.
Addicted to this place that Mother Nature provided.
It appears wild but peaceful.
Noisy with life but simple and serene.
Oh, the power of the goddess and my code triple three.
