MOUNTAINS

Irksome birds zipping around 

in the cold morning air.

Yellow wattle everywhere, 

climbing, hanging flora in the air.

Looking down 

there's an abundance of trees.

Colours bursting around the mountain range.

Irksome cicadas killing my ears 

but only for a few weeks.

All is good 

the view is breathtaking
