Moutain Breeze

Leaves long and slender, drape downwards from
a single stalk. Dull green leaves in to inch,
is where everbody calls home. Grey mammals
devouring lanceolate-lush leaves.
Intense and fresh aroma clearing my mind,
resisting the gust of the breeze.
As soft as rain and as delicate as the
blooming of the flowers in a warm September
haze. It crawls unseen through the air,
spreading bliss everywhere.
The pale grey distant toned bark smooth
throughout the shrubs covering the vast
region. The slim branches reaching down
towards the countryside, awaiting to take
a load off as the kookaburras fly off into
the horizon.
As the cool of the evening settles the
earth, my heart will remain in the blue crystal water
as silence rules the air.
