My Baby Blanket

A long last childhood memory stuck in a box for eight years
So many memories since I was a baby
Tick…Tick…Tick… Time flies by
Precious time never waisted
I wish I was a baby again
Without you I don’t know what I would do
I would want you to come out of the box one more time
As white as a storm and as fluffy as a lamb
As warm as you are soft
I have it in a cupboard, way up high
When my mum put it up there I asked why?
If i lost you I know I would cry
It’s nowhere close to being torn
I love you too much to let you go
I love you my baby blanket - Never go
