My Blankie

It is old and special, yellow, white and green,
Stays on my bed, if it hits the ground, I say a prayer to it so it reminds me of a Holy book.
It brings back the memories of when my great grandma held me when I was a little baby.
My great grandma made it for me with her own hands when I was born.
When she puts it on me I feel like nothing bad can happen to me.
It feels as soft as a cotton ball.
It is very unique and valuable to me.
I cuddle it at night especially when I have nightmares!
It gives me hope and joy every time I see and cuddle it.
Yellow, it reminds me of the sun when it becomes dark, there's always a yellow colour to keep me happy.
Green, it's like soft green grass that I lie on.
White, it's like a fragile diamond that is special in my heart!
