It’s gold very bold; like golden treasure.
What does it mean this spinning machine?
It’s a tremendous cricket ball you see
Lustrous and resplendent
My name is on the plaque.

Why, you ask?
The trophy represents that I’m not average
On the cricket field I am savage
Under eleven fielding award 2017

Bats, ball, wicket; it’s a glorious ticket
Covered in gilt
This awesome stitching is dauntless
It’s mine to keep
Next to me while I sleep.

Trivial,  trophy standing tall,
Representing my achievement.
It whispers in my ear
