My Dreamcatcher

It dangles on my wall by a single piece of string,
It swings around like a light gust of wind,
The colorful feathers drape off the hoop,
With shiny beads clinging on tight,
The beautiful pattern made with lace,
On the inside of the hoop that makes you gaze,
Who knows how many stories it holds?
As I go to bed dreams start to swirl inside my head,
As I sail away to magical lands in my bright future world,
As I imagine my bright future,
It runs my mind with amazing thoughts,
As I visualize the dreamy stardust above my head,
The fantasy never ends.
Soon it’s time to say goodbye,
To the wonderful dream I’ve had,
My eyes slowly open to see the gazing sunrise,
Outside my big bright window,
I stare at the dream catcher,
With bright eyes,
As sit in bed waiting for the next night,
Wondering what dreams will start to rise.
