My experience

The nature around us, the rustling trees.

The wind striking across the grass.

The trees growing every year, planted every second.

Mud on kids, mud on everyone.

Listening to poems, to write the poems.

The mud and the water, dry down far enough, that’s what you will find.

The dirt on your gloves, dirt and mud chunks on your shirt or jumper.

Clean to dirty in just a few seconds.

Helpers all around the place, nowhere to escape.

The Acknowledgement of Country can really help with a start.

One hour of poems, one hour of planting trees.
