The beauty hides within the box
dust covers it
when it is opened it brings out music inside my head and I wish that my aunty was here to read what I’m typing
I love you tuppy
bursting with flavour and colour
when it's open it brings out a liquorice scent, it’s so strong that it tastes like coco by itself
it gives me butterflies and is warm, kindly and caring
sweet smelling, bitter, old soft and lolly like, this jewellery box was passed down, generation to generation
do not break that connection,
carrying memories from child to child and now me.
