My First Day Of School

Woken up earlier than normal
Of course I had a gigantic fit
My mum forced me to wear something formal
I was going to go to Kindergarten, which was hard to admit

A big click of a camera and it triggered my tears
I didn't know where school was and when I was coming back
Little did I know I would attend school for the next 13 years
While bawling my eyes, I met a boy named Zach

He was the sweetest I had ever seen
Great at initiating conversations and the first to talk to me
We loved doing activities together especially climbing trees
We have been friends since and maybe it was meant to be

Surprisingly to me I had lost track of time
And overall it had been a day full of fun
