My First Toy

It’s just a little toy with nothing interesting to see
But to me this little toy means everything to me
It’s seven years old with yellow paint peeling all around
From all those times it was dropped accidentally on the ground
I was rummaging around my bookcase searching for a book
When my eyes fell upon this poor forgotten choock
Lonely and neglected this little toy had waited
Two long years for a chance to get played with
It had waited in a place as dark as night
To get lifted up and finally see the light
I gently laid my hand s on this lost yet found treasure
No amount of happiness compared to mine, would ever measure
Every part of my body was slowly coated in delight
This would be my sacred talisman alright
It’s just a little toy with nothing interesting to see
But to me this little toy means everything to me
