My House

My house is surrounded by
paddocks and farm animals.

I can see…
Walking through my fun filled house are many photographs,
jumping through the grass are brown wallabies that make me laugh.
Four lovely dogs playing in the yard called Peter, Sasha, Stormy and Max,
the dominoes laying on the ground with me make me relax.

I can hear…
‘Whoosh!’ wonderful wallabies playing in the brown grass,
everyone is talking at the dinner table and drinking from a glass.
My dog is always winging at his mat,
the people on the television are having a serious chat.

I can feel…
Safe as I am with my family, who protects me,
itchy because I am being sucked by a hundred fleas.
Happy as a hippo because I play with my perfect puppy and have fun,
running with the horses in the scorching hot sun.

My house lets me happily grow and learn about life
while enjoying the fresh air and country lifestyle.
