My Light Snow Globe

Standing there by itself,
The once shining shimmering globe,
Gathers dust on its gloomy shelf.
Years and years of owning it,
But still it stays forlorn.
The dolphins laugh no more
Or dance no more.
But as I bring it out of the dark
And hold it in my hands,
Their tiny eyes grow a
mischievous spark.
My dancing laughing shining dolphins
Live once again,
For my snow globe is in the light now,
To never lose again.
