Smiling, enlightening the house
As golden and gleaming as the sun, yet as silent as a mouse
Its ceramic glistens as brightly as a water spring
Its belly as lucky as a leprechaun with the wishes it will bring

He sits quietly and waits to make wishes come to life
May it be a jet plane, a car or eternal life
He came into my life before I was clever
Now, just a simple item: but to me he is lucky forever
