My Medal

From the moment I got awarded my medal
I felt special.
It was when my team won the cup in rugby league out of school.
I was really happy that I got this medal because we beat the hardest team and we thrashed them.
Every time I walk past my medal I think to myself that I am different to everyone else
Because I have a medal from my favourite sport and it also has the colours
Of my favourite team (DRAGONS).
I also wear it around places sometimes to
Show that I have earned something that means a lot to me
No one gave it to me without me trying hard for it,
I won it myself and I deserved it because
We beat them.
This medal means a lot to me and if I lost my medal I would be
Upset for a very, very long period of time.
