My Ocean Collection

The vastness of the ocean compressed into a collection in my bedroom
So still yet used to be alive
A variety of marvellous crustaceans
and vivid shells
One may not be able to see the true beauty inside these ancient beings
but I admire them
The moist and squishy brutes
that used to live in these crusts
have now passed on and now lay on a piece of wood
This curious grouping of fossils is
my ocean collection
