My Special Blanket

Keeping me warm when I am cold.
A soft warm feeling tickling my skin as it connects.
Reminds me of happy and warm thoughts,
covering me and curling me up with all its might.
It is like touching the softest thing in the world and
you can feel the tusks anytime you want.
It takes you to a wonderful world of glee as
you enter through the big gates.
The joyful feelings you get as you gently stroke
your fingers across its tusks.
A gift, remembered forever.
Brings thoughts through my head when I think of it,
bringing back memories from the past I’ve had.
Like no other, as special as can be
and it will always be with me.
