My toy giraffe

A gift, a forever friend
Chocolate brown eyes, luscious green mane
Blue hexagons all around
We shared many cuddles and memories together
But I made a discovery.
It had ripped
Like my heart.
After many tears and stitches
Mum saved the day
His arm, reattached
What a survivor!
Sitting on my shelf
Smiling at me,
Reminding me of all the fun we had
Through thick and thin,
I hold my best friend's hand
