My Tree

A calming place,
Where the wind blows, swirling by and the birds chirp.
When the water splashes, it is a satisfying trickling sound.
I climb to the very top of my red oak tree.
I can see everything.
Everything looks so small and tiny.
When the leaves drop,
They float down to the rocks below.
I hear the hissing snakes.
They Slither into the bed of leaves.
I feel like I am on the top of the world.
The birds flying around, joyfully circling.
I smell the nice blossoms -
They smell like honey,
Yellow miniature suns everywhere.
I climb back down
I can hear the satisfying sound of leaves under my feet
Crunch! Crunch!
I am pleased and overjoyed.
I am calm here.
