Nature Poem

Let us go then, you and I
Through the ripples of the sun piercing the surface
Tides are full, waves thicker
Each hit harder and harder
For will you catch a break
In this horrible weather
Waves hitting your body
Like a bullet piercing skin
Yet you still persist
When the clouds are dark
And the waves are full
What will you do
But when the sky is bright
And the waves are light
We can redo your wounds
Your skin hard
Your heart soft
Oh won't these waves let up
The birds chirping
And the leaves swaying
