Walking on a trail,

In the illuminated forest. Every step I take

A crunch of leaves await. The tall trees dance in the wind,

                  The lake whispers deep within.

                            The sun beams, cicadas sing,

I hear an orchestra of birds singing.

                      The breeze envelops me.

I feel the sharp blades of grass cut me.

A rabbit hops past as fast as a car.

I lay down in the grass,

And run my finger across the rough soil.

Looking up, all I can see is

                      An avalanche of wispy clouds

                                Opening my ears

                           A slippery, sneaky, snake.

                           Walking closer to the lake,

                        Smell the astonishing fresh air.

                                 I come to a stop

I thought it would never end.
